until recently most people would never consider getting a tattoo. Tattoos were pretty much limited to the outliers of society (such as gangsters, prison psychopaths and circus sideshow freaks) who wanted to make some sort of defiant I-dont-follow-your-rules statement. Now tattoos are so popular and fashionable there is nothing edgy or rebellious about them. They are simply a fashion. Unfortunately they are a stupid fashion a really stupid fashion.

@Paul Zerzan I know a bitch who had a big tattoo across her back when she was a teen now in her 20s she regrets it and had it removed but it left her with permanent marks on her back not a pretty sight!
