The maggots are put there deliberately in these third world hospitals to clean wounds as maggots only eat dead flesh and leave living flesh alone. They're very good a sterilizing wounds where proper meds can't be obtained

@Doctor Russia Those are not sterile maggots used for hospital myiasis wound treatment. That is a neglected wound that was infested naturally and they are the kind of maggots that not only eat the rot but also parasitically invade healthy tissue, which is why the wound continues to widen. If that was a done intentionally by the hospital there would be debridement and none of that "curling" rotten tissue around the edges, and there would be a pack in the wound with the maggots. This guy just got a wound and didn't give a fuck and left it open, and flies laid their eggs in it. Don't talk shit out your ass when you don't know wtf you're talking about.
