In many countries they use maggots as therapy for injuries and infections. Most videos you see of a injury infested with maggots are most likely put there by doctors to eat the infected area (dead skin cells etc.)

Now a days, maggots are not used for doing something like eat away dead flesh, maybe like 200 years ago they did stuff like that, but this video os of someone fo got a cut or something, and it became infected, and those maggots are not supposed to be there. From all thw blood and mess wound the wound, you can tell this was not "prescribed" to this man as the other idiot says in his comment that was before mine.
