What you see here is exsanguination and it's standard practice in virtually all meat processing, everywhere. I'll skip the technical reasons and motivations for it - you can do your own googling. Obviously, you've never been anywhere that people slaughter their own livestock rather than go to the grocery store or butcher shop. I've often heard it said that people are disconnected from their food supplies. They're used to everything being packaged and neat or even already cooked. But the process starts with a living animal that is then killed in a similar or even worse fashion than seen here, and then cut into whatever chunks or pieces are required and processed yet again. That's how it's done. Visit a local slaughterhouse sometime.

It's not killing for living - they obviously have grocery stores if they live in a city with paved streets and gardening there. It's unnecessary inhumane slaughter due to barbarous troglodytic religious custom. Don't you see any difference?
