Guy is alive and well. Bloomsburg Police say 18 year old Gage Shumbat of Williamsport is charged with Simple Assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment in connection to the vicious attack on 21 year old Cory Palek, from Shenandoah who is a Bloomsburg University student.
Shumbat is a non student from Williamsport. Surveillance video shows Shumbat punching Palek on the right side of the head. That knocked Palek to the sidewalk unconscious. He was treated at Bloomsburg Hospital and later released and charged with disorderly conduct.
